Pastor Christopher L. Mack, Sr., was born to Jerry and Ruthie Cole-Mack on January 24, 1978, in Pine Bluff, AR. Pastor Mack was educated in the Pine Bluff School District and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1996. He attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he majored in Education. On June 16, 2006 he received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Lake Charles Bible College, Lake Charles, Louisiana.
His Pastoral journey began when he accepted his call from God in 1997 at the Prairie Lake M.B.Church under the leadership of Rev. Lee Whitaker. While at Prairie Lake, he served as Minister of Music for a number of years. Before he became a full time Pastor he was employed by the National Pizza Company. He became a General Manager at Pizza Hut at the age of 19 and served in that capacity for more than 7 years. Pastor Mack was a capable and successful lead manager and his store was ranked in the top 20 division in the southern region. He has attended numerous seminars and workshops that have equipped him to become an effective and qualified leader.
Pastor Mack married his high school sweetheart, Shameka Hopkins-Mack on August 16, 1997 and they are the proud parents of (3 ) children: Aeriel, Alexi, and Christopher (C.J.) Mack.
God in His infinite wisdom sent Pastor Mack to the Highland Baptist Church and he was elected as Senior Pastor on February 8, 2003. Under the leadership of Pastor Mack, many accomplishments have been made. Mainly, a ground-breaking ceremony was held on Sunday, September 26, 2010 for a new 21,000 square ft. Edifice.
Over the last eight years Highland has become an even more Prestigious, Phenomenal, and Prosperous church. By the aid of the Holy Spirit, and Pastor Macks' preaching, many lives have been Renewed, Revived, and Reconstructed.
